I enjoyed the book and found parts of it very funny.  I likened quite a few of the characters/places in the book to people I know.

I loved the twists and turns as the plot unfolds to a shocking climax. I am taking it to my book group this week.

The plot was engaging with the Royals being portrayed as a down to earth family but with the expected individual eccentricities! When the Commonwealth is under threat, they fight to retain it. Any suggestion of a marriage to a Kiwi All Black from Down Under to Princess Divine, the sole heir apparent to the throne, is totally out of the question! The cunning queen and king pull out all stops to defend the Commonwealth and stop the marriage. They resort to all sorts of shady tactics involving New Zealand, Australia and Canada.
