Cape Sienna Illustrations By Alastair Carthew

Occasionally Cape Sienna Resort on Phuket asks for an illustration for their newsletter. Each includes three key figures, the GM, the food and beverage manager and the executive chef. The images are a narrative of the ups and downs of the hospitality industry on Phuket.

The illustrations record the fortunes of the hotel on a month to month basis. The start of the high season (November-April); Songkran, the Thai new year; promotions to mark special days in the calendar. They are all ripe for some light-hearted fun involving our three heroes.

The pictures head up a monthly newsletter from the hotel.
